WakeControl does not access your personal files, documents, passwords, browsing history or private content stored on your computer.

The information we use is mainly technical and helps activate the product, connect authorized devices and provide power on/off functions with Alexa.

2. Information we may use

To provide the service, WakeControl may use information related to your license, authorized devices, service connection status and Amazon Alexa linking.

This information is used in a limited and practical way: to know which devices belong to your license and execute the actions you request.

3. Purposes

• Activate and validate your license.
• Associate authorized devices with WakeControl.
• Enable linking with Amazon Alexa.
• Send power on/off commands when requested by you.
• Prevent unauthorized license use.
• Assist with incidents or support requests.

4. Information we do not collect

WakeControl is not designed to collect personal files, photos, documents, passwords, conversations, browsing history or private information stored on your computer.

5. External services

WakeControl may rely on external services related to Alexa, hosting, database, email and technical support.

These services are used only as needed to operate WakeControl, maintain security, manage licenses and provide assistance.

6. Retention

We keep information while your license is active or while it is necessary to provide the service, manage support, prevent abuse or comply with applicable obligations.

You may request deletion of your data or unlinking of your account by contacting support.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect service information and prevent unauthorized access. However, no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You may request information about your data, correction, deletion or limitation when applicable.

9. Deletion and unlinking

If you stop using WakeControl, you can uninstall the app from Windows and disable the Skill in the Alexa app.

You can also ask support to delete data associated with your license, release devices or unlink the associated Amazon account.

10. Service limitations

WakeControl depends on computer compatibility, Windows, BIOS/UEFI, network adapter, Alexa, local network and user configuration.

Wake-on-LAN power-on may not work on all devices, especially over WiFi or when the computer is fully powered off and the hardware does not keep remote wake functionality active.

We may update this policy to reflect service improvements, technical changes or legal requirements. The current version will always be published on this page.

1. What WakeControl is

WakeControl is a Tecnopro Solutions application that allows compatible Windows computers to be controlled using power on/off commands through Amazon Alexa.

The service combines a usage license, an application installed on the computer and Alexa linking so you can manage authorized devices.

2. Permitted use

You may use WakeControl on your own devices or on devices you are authorized to control. It must not be used to control third-party devices without permission.

3. License

Each license allows activation of up to 5 compatible devices unless different commercial terms are specified.

The license is for use by the buyer or their authorized environment. Sharing, reselling or distributing licenses without authorization from Tecnopro Solutions is not permitted.

One license can be linked to one Amazon account at a time. If you need to change the linked account, contact support.

4. Compatibility

WakeControl requires compatible Windows, local network, BIOS/UEFI, network adapter and Amazon Alexa configuration.

Shutdown depends on the WakeControl application being installed, active and connected.

Power-on through Wake-on-LAN depends on hardware and local network. Ethernet is recommended. WiFi operation is not guaranteed.

5. Service availability

We work to keep WakeControl stable, but we cannot guarantee permanent availability or compatibility with every computer, router, Windows version, Alexa device or network configuration.

6. User responsibility

The user is responsible for installing WakeControl only on authorized devices, keeping the system and network properly configured, protecting the license and using the service safely and legally.

7. Support

Tecnopro Solutions may provide support for activation, installation, Amazon Alexa linking and basic diagnostics.

Some incidents may depend on external configurations such as BIOS/UEFI, router, firewall, Windows, network adapter or Amazon services.

8. Suspension or revocation

Tecnopro Solutions may suspend or revoke a license in cases of abuse, fraud, system manipulation, non-payment or unauthorized use.

9. Reasonable limitation

WakeControl executes actions requested by the user or the linked Alexa account. Tecnopro Solutions is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect settings, power outages, network failures, hardware incompatibility, third-party changes or misuse of the service.

10. Uninstalling and unlinking

The user may uninstall WakeControl from Windows and disable the Skill from the Alexa app.

The user may also request support to release devices, unlink the Amazon account or delete data associated with the license when applicable.

11. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms to improve the service, adapt to technical changes or comply with applicable obligations. The current version will be published on this page.
